Welcome to the newly-updated Eleventh Month Design!
I've been away from here for a loooong time (over two years *gulp*). I admit that when I started this site, I lacked vision on what to do and how to make a site that was good enough to keep myself and visitors engaged. I wanted to be too many things on this platform, which caused disconnect, overwhelm, defeat, and eventually the demise of my first website.

I'm not proud of the failure, but I learned from it and have now started anew.
Besides the fresh look, here's what's different:
Before, the blog was cluttered with personal posts, interior design attempts, and tries at tutorials that weren't thought out. It was chaotic and didn't fit my brand (which I was still trying to pin down back then). It wasn't the helpful, creative place I didn't know I wanted it to be.
With this new intention in mind, the blog has been wiped clean. It will focus primarily on the arts and crafts I use to make items for my shop, like knitting, crochet, and carpentry. I will be scattering in test product posts, new product and shop announcements, as well as any stories behind pieces I create that I feel need more than their product descriptions to talk about it. I'm also reviving the blog series, "What's My WIP?" to keep me on track with non-shop items I need to make.
**If blog-reading and site-skimming aren't your thing, you can follow me on Instagram and Facebook for shop updates & other shenanigans.**
I feel like Eleventh Month Design has changed for the better. The initial failure made me look closely at myself, my business and its condition to recognize and address many areas I was avoiding, or was unable to see when I first started out. What used to be a tangled mess of a business plan has been combed through and purged of unnecessary strings and ideas. I have a much better idea where I'm heading now, and I'm excited to take my business there.
